KEEN
KEEN New York is a non-profit organization with a small staff that is further supported by community leaders, parents, and volunteers. The organization offers recreational and wellness opportunities to children and young adults aged 5-25 with physical and/or developmental disabilities. These free opportunities involve pairing participants 1:1 with volunteers for fun and noncompetitive activities. Their most popular programs include but are not limited to, Soccer, Yoga, Swim, Fitness, Basketball, and Virtual Programs.

Volunteering
Volunteering with KEEN is enjoyable and flexible, allowing occasional or regular involvement and potential leadership roles. Prior experience or athletic ability is optional, as KEEN sessions are supervised by KEEN Coaches and KEEN offers orientations to all volunteers before pairing them with participants to ensure everyone can enjoy sports activities.
